RELAX AND RENEW
Warm Yin
Yin is a slower style of yoga that focuses on long holds of passive postures, with frequent use of props to fully support the body in the shape of the pose. In Yin Yoga, we allow the muscles to relax so that the pose can exert gentle, healthy stress on the deeper tissues of the body (ligaments, fascia, etc.). Stillness and mindful breathing are important aspects of Yin Yoga, making it an excellent complement to more active, Yang styles of yoga.

The Details
80°-85°F
The room is gently warmed to 80°F to relax the muscles without the intensity of our hotter formats. Surrender and create space in a peaceful, warm setting.
75 min
During this 75 minute practice, passive poses are held from 1 to 5 minutes. Use of props helps to support the body for muscle relaxation around the target area to release tension, improve circulation, and bring hydration and nutrition to your cells.
All Levels Welcome
Yin has a slow pace. Most poses are done seated or laying down and there are specific recommendations for how to set up each pose and time to experiment with what will work best for your body. It's a cool complement to any active practice.

Warm Yin Yoga Etiquette
Please enter the practice room quietly. Many Yin practitioners enjoy the moments before class for meditation or to start relaxing and stilling their minds. Be aware that talking might disrupt this peace. Check which props the instructor has set up at the front of the room and collect the same ones for yourself before class begins. Keep the peaceful vibe throughout class and when your Savasana is complete, please exit silently.
